Questions we get a lot

Can two people eat on $50 a week?

Our $50 plan for two covers breakfast, lunch and dinner for seven days at Aldi prices, with pantry basics assumed at home. The checkout total is an estimate range, so it can land a little above or below $50.

Why do you show two totals?

Food you eat is the value of what the meals use. Checkout is what you pay for whole packages. The difference stays in your kitchen for the next week.

Are the prices live shelf prices?

No. They are dated averages from country price tables, with store multipliers for chains where direct prices are not available. Promotions, brands and your region change the real bill.

Do I need the app?

No. Every plan here is free to read and print. The CentMenu app lets you set your own household, allergies and budget and swap meals.
